Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berkshire County has been serving children in Berkshire County since 1969, starting out as Big Brothers of Pittsfield. In 1987 we became nationally affiliated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. This affiliation allowed our agency to expand to service girls as well as boys; allowing our agency to focus fully on our mission.
The Mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berkshire County is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with measurable outcomes. We are the only nationally affiliated agency in Berkshire County whose mission is solely devoted to mentoring.
